Learn proper stretch, stride and technique to optimize your fitness walking. Taught by Olympic racewalker Mark Fenton.
Mayors' Cup Race, 9:30-10 a.m.
1/4-mile loop around Market Square. Mayor Haslam, Mayor Ragsdale, a WBIR anchor, a Lady Vols Rowing Coach, and a few UT athletes will compete in this fun race walk for the ultimate prize - the Mayors' Cup.
Walkability Scavenger Hunt, 10-10:30 a.m.
Parents, kids and walkers will explore the downtown landscape, streets and monuments while learning what makes a place walkable.
